Holiday greetings from all of us at NDN & Hot Media!
2009 was certainly a tough year, but as we wind down and reflect our ups and downs, the challenging year has actually forced us to be better. Compare to 12 months ago, we are more integrated today with our offerings. We have reinvented ourselves with creativity and improved communications internally and with clients. Even with shrunken budgets, we are demonstrating higher effectiveness and better results. In short, we are literally delivering more bang for the buck and more innovative solutions.
It was difficult in February 2009 when the advertising market came to a complete halt and we had to make drastic changes for survival. I wish to thank our team for sticking together and grown to be more resilient. Your hard work and dedication, as a result, will be a new record month for us this December with 10 concurrent paid advertisers on McDonald’s Channel. The Pacific Coffee Channel has also performed strongly amidst the downturn and delivered higher media spending compare to the previous year. Our mobile unit, Hot Mob, has secured sufficient advertising commitments to spin off and expand rapidly to capture the mobile market.
Notable mentions for 2009 also include our development of widgets for Cartier, online support for Lane Crawford, Qeelin, and Kasperski, iPhone application for HSBC, OVI applications for Nokia, and the appointment to develop a digital interactive platform for Open University of Hong Kong. The 1 year OUHK appointment was a joint tender win by DraftFCB, TBWA, and New Digital Noise.
As we wrap up the year and celebrate for getting through 2009, warm wishes for our colleagues, partners, and people we have worked together during the year to have a wonderful Christmas and an even better New Year.
From all of us at NDN & Hot Media!
