Circle K – Stitch & Scrump Contest

-
The Brief
To coincide with its new round of toy memorabilia for Disney’s Stitch, Circle K enlisted NDN to create a contest on Facebook.
The Solution
New Digital Noise created a Facebook application for their Fan Page that was accessible on smartphones. Revolutionising Facebook and smartphone synchronisation, a Facebook application was finally enabled for mobile devices. Players accessed the contest via mobile banner ads and QR Codes on Circle K media.
Campaign data and traffic was efficiently collected using Social Media Broadcasts’ (SMB) tracking system. The SMB also virally marketed the campaign over the social networking site.
NDN evolved the point collection concept already in use by Circle K to offer its patrons further chances to win the collectable dolls. Consumers have to input the numeric code at the bottom of the point stickers into the Facebook application. On 10 August 2011, 7 codes will be randomly drawn by the backend system.
The Result
On its first day, the revolutionary Facebook application-mobile synchronisation generated 1700 new Fans for the Circle K Fan Page.
Three weeks into the campaign resulted in around 3 million potential impressions and over 11,000 new Fans!
