The Brief
Harbour City, the largest shopping mall in Hong Kong, offers a one-stop shopping, dining and entertainment experience for consumers. Harbour City wanted to further engage shoppers and drive traffic to the site.
The Solution
The app “Harbour City Guide” was launched to update consumers with the latest news and promotional offers. The app provided users with information and updates from over 700 diverse shops, including more than 50 food & beverage outlets, 2 cinemas and 3 hotels.
Users could redeem a series of “Welcome Gifts” and access the exclusive promotions.

This app was lead by NDN with the support of Green Tomato & Hotmob on mobile promotions. The launch plan included promotion on McDonald’s Channel, the Hotmob affiliated mobile networks, Darizi Lifestyle, ePublications of Handheld Culture, Harbour City’s Facebook page and Weibo.
The Result
The app was rated the Top app under the Travel category. Shoppers were highly engaged with this app and loved to share mall news with their handy tools.
