The Brief
Neo Derm required a programme to sync their internal systems and smooth their operations.
The Solution
New Digital Noise created an internal system that ran on Android tablets and synced with internal computer systems to enhance internal operations. The programme provided a systematic approach to treatment bookings, linking client data with their treatments and displaying relevant information to the beautician.
Android tablets hung in each treatment room that displayed the client’s treatment and timed the session for the reference of client and beautician. The tablet allowed the beautician and cleaning staff to update the status of the room and notify the receptionist regarding its vacancy. Staff used the touchscreen to report on the treatment, tapping a button to notify the system when the treatment commenced and ended. Cleaning staff could also alert the reception of the cleaning process by tapping the screen to alert the front desk of when the room was available for the next client.
The system linked 90 tablets with the front desk and staffroom to alert relevant parties of their duties. Mobile capabilities allowed SMS to be blasted to alert the beauticians and cleaning staff when they were required for duty.
The system also generated reports regarding treatments, client data and systems operations.
The Result
The backend system greatly boosted operational efficiency. Plans are set to launch the programme nationwide to other Neo Derm salons.
