OUHK Open Learning Platform

-
The Brief
The Open University of Hong Kong aimed to position their brand and create the Open Learning Digital Platform (virtual university) as a pioneer in Asia Pacific and appointed New Digital Noise as a digital solution provider to demonstrate measureable benefits in promoting cyber learning, attract prospects, encourage interaction and initiate data-mining capabilities.
The ideology and objective of the development was to explore social media and interactive tools to be implemented onto the platform.
The Solution
A new function, the OUHK “Study Planner” was commissioned to provide guidance to prospective scholars and ease their transition into academia. Future students were requested to complete a questionnaire that would assess their suitability for continuing their education, either as a potential part-time or fulltime scholar.
Upon completion, the candidate was eligible for a breadth of services to enhance the university career.
The Result
The new function launched in time to welcome new secondary school graduates and those wishing to continue their education over the summer and beyond.
