The Brief
Sony always keeps abreast with the latest trends and provides entertaining yet refreshing experiences for music lovers. An app was the ideal platform to engage target consumers and promote its speakers and headphones exclusively designed for iPod, iPhone and iPad.
The Solution
The app “Rock Da Phone” was launched, inviting users to challenge their musical coordination while enjoying the latest tunes from the band, Mr. (Mister).
Players had to hit the musical notes on the iPhone or iPod touchscreens. There were two songs available to the user: “Everyone (Cyber Clash)” and “搖擺 Yao Bai (Rock Hed Mix)” from the bestselling album, Mr. (Mister) – Like Black.
Players could begin with the “Easy” level and unlock new levels by accumulating points.
The app was also promoted on Hotmob affiliated networks including W.TV, OpenRice, HK Toolbar, eBuddy and HK Movie.
