• HSBC “hkYFi” Campaign

  • The Brief

    HSBC “hkYFi” further promoted its Youth Financial Services by launching a 13-week promotional campaign.

     

    The objective was to capture youth attention and to remind them of the HSBC “hkYFi” service scope.

    The Solution

    To target Hong Kong youth, HSBC selected to communicate with them in an innovative way.  Over 2,000 WiFi hotspots in Hong Kong were embedded with HSBC Banners and a default push page after login.  Every time users searched for WiFi spots they were able to connect with HSBC.

    The Result

    This promotion reached a vast audience through McDonald’s, Starbucks, Lan Kwai Fong, Knutsford Terrace, UA Cinemas and universities in Hong Kong.  Both web & WAP versions were adapted to capture all possible WiFi devices.

     

    The campaign led to the target’s high brand recall and made HSBC the primary brand for Youth Financial Services.
